INGREDIENTS
3 medium Russet potatoes
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
½ – 1 tablespoon Buona Cucina Roasted Garlic Salt
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

DIRECTIONS
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut off the ends and slice the potatoes into ¼-inch wide strips.
Place fries in a large bowl and cover completely with cold water. Soak for a minimum of 30 minutes or overnight (place bowl in the refrigerator if soaking longer than 1 hour). Soaking the fries removes excess starch, resulting in a crispier oven fry.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Drain, rinse and lay fries on a paper towel-lined cooling rack. Blot with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
In a dry bowl, toss potatoes, olive oil, and ½ – 1 tablespoon Roasted Garlic Salt until thoroughly mixed.
Line a baking pan with parchment paper. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes, flipping once or twice after 15 minutes of cooking.
Sprinkle with more Roasted Garlic Salt to taste and add Parmesan cheese (optional). Serve immediately.
