Burger Blast Gourmet Burgers

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef, 80/20 preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Buona Cucina Burger Blast seasoning
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Your favorite cheese
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Red onion, thinly sliced
  • Your favorite burger sauce

Directions

  1. Make the burgers: Place the ground beef in a large bowl. Sprinkle the Burger Blast seasoning evenly over the meat. Gently mix with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix, or the burgers can become tough.
  2. Shape the patties: Divide the meat into 4 equal portions and gently shape into patties about ¾-inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty with your thumb to help keep the burgers from puffing up while grilling.
  3. Heat the grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 400–450°F. Lightly oil the grates if needed to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill the burgers: Place the patties on the hot grill. Cook for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium, or until they reach your preferred doneness. For food safety, ground beef should reach 160°F internally.
  5. Add the cheese: During the last 1–2 minutes of grilling, place your favorite cheese on each burger. Close the grill lid and let the cheese melt.
  6. Toast the buns: Place the buns cut-side down on the grill for about 30–60 seconds, just until lightly toasted.
  7. Build your Burger Blast Burger: Spread your favorite sauce on the toasted buns. Add the juicy burger, melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
  8. Serve and enjoy! Pair with crispy fries, potato wedges, or your favorite summer side for the ultimate Burger Blast meal.
