Ingredients
2lbs, Mussels- 1lbs per person, rinsed and debearded
4oz, Beer any beer will work. IPA with citrus elements work best.
1 tsp Minced Garlic
1 tsp Minced Shallot
2 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Parsley
2 Tbsp Fresh Chopped Scallion
¼ cup Diced Tomato
¼ lbs cold cubed Salted Butter
Salt+Pepper- as needed
2 Tbs Buona Cucina Greek Lemon Fused Oil– more as needed
Italian Bread
Buona Cucina Garlic Infused Oil– As Needed
Grated Parmesean- As Needed
Directions
Place your Saute Pan over Medium High Heat and add 2 Tbsp of Greek Lemon olive oil to the pan. Add garlic and shallot, lightly saute. Add mussels to pan, add salt, pepper, tomato, and herbs. Saute together lightly. Add Beer and Cover, Steam the Mussels until the Shells Open. Remove the lid, Add the Salted Butter Cubes and Turn Down Heat. Swirl the Pan until the Butter is Melted and combined to make the sauce. Pour into a Bowl and Serve.
Slice Italian Bread Length-wise on a Bias. Grill Bread lightly, Top with Garlic Oil and Grated Parmesean, Serve with Mussels
