Espresso Short Rib Braised in Red Wine

Ingredients

4 lbs Boneless Short Ribs

1 cup

1 cup Buona Cucina Espresso Rub

1 cup Red Wine

Buona Cucina Garlic Infused Oil to sear the ribs as needed

2 Quarts Beef Stock

1 Tbsp Tomato Paste

4 Tbsp Garlic

1 large Onion, diced

1 bottle Que Abides Bourbon BBQ Sauce (sold in store)

Directions
Pat dry Short Ribs, season with espresso rub.
Let meat come to room temp.
Sear Short Ribs in a dutch oven or sauté pan with garlic olive oil.
Remove Short Ribs from pan.
Sauté diced onion and garlic until caramelized.
Add tomato paste, cook briefly.
Deglaze with red wine, add beef stock.
Return Short Ribs to liquid.
Cover with parchment paper and lid.
Slow roast at 325°F for 4-5 hours.
Once done, add in Que Abides Bourbon BBQ Sauce.
